Our Centres

Our main scheme runs at the Willenhall E-Act Academy however, throughout specific school holidays, we operate at different centres so make sure to check out our Venues and Dates page for more information on this.

We are also now offering our brand new 'Mini Camp' which will operate every saturday 9:00-11:30am at Willenhall E-Act Academy.

Registration

Children are always registered on the door upon drop off to The Playscheme so we are aware at all times how many children are attending that day and who is in each group. Parents will need to sign their children in and out each day. Registers from the morning registration are given to the correct Lead Coaches who will mark the attendance between each activity session.

Groups

All children are sorted into groups before registration and will stay in the same group throughout the whole day which will be lead by the same coaches. The groups are determined by age so activities can be planned accordingly and are easier to control in terms of safety.

Activity sessions

For the holiday playschemes, there are 3 structured activity sessions throughout the day Multi-Sports, Swimming and Arts and Crafts. We offer SWIMMING EVERYDAY so ensure your child has packed the appropriate kit. If your child doesn't want to do swimming, we make sure they take part either on the side of the pool or join another group for sport or arts and crafts. The sport played within the Multi-Sport sessions change each day so if your child attends for the full week, they will get a full range of sporting knowledge. If your child is only attending for one day, they have free-time over lunch and at the beginning and end of each day to explore other sporting activities in which are coaches are always available for learning and support. Arts and Crafts activities are also different everyday.

Festive Periods

During Festive periods, such as Halloween or Christmas, we try to design our acitivites to be linked with these events and hire in specialist activities such as an animal team, bouncy castle, fancy dress and party games. Children on the HAF scheme, get an opportunity to have an off site trip, last years being The Snowdome!

Lunch Time

Each lunch time everyone will go to the canteen area and eat lunch which will then be followed by free-time. All of our staff sit with the children whilst they eat to make sure they are monitored and that any issues can be resolved. Any children on the HAF Scheme will have their lunch provided to them by us.
